The service
Hair & Beauty lists beauty and aesthetics businesses. Members pay a monthly fee to be listed. We take no commission and are not a party to any booking, treatment or payment between a member and their client.
Listing and accuracy
You are responsible for what your listing says — your details, treatments, prices and photos must be accurate, yours, and lawful. You must hold the qualifications and insurance appropriate to the treatments you list. We may unpublish a listing that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, unlawful or misleading.
Fees
Every new membership starts with three months free; no card is taken and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan. After that, membership is £9.99 a month or £83.90 a year, per business location, payable in advance through Stripe. We may also grant a free period by hand; it works the same way and ends on the date shown in your dashboard. Fees are for the listing service and are not refundable for part-periods. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any change to fees, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Featured placement
Featured placement is an optional extra for members at £29.99 a month. It buys a place in the labelled Featured row on the homepage and a Featured mark on your listing card; it does not change how listings are ordered or ranked anywhere else on the site, and it is always shown as paid. Places in the row rotate among everyone who has bought one. You can cancel from your dashboard at any time and the placement continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
Liability
Treatments are provided by members, not by us. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for the outcome of any treatment or for dealings between members and their clients. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending membership
You can end your membership at any time from your dashboard or by email; your listing comes down at the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails we retry for 14 days and email you each time; if it still cannot be taken, the listing comes down and goes straight back up when payment resumes. We can end or suspend a membership for breach of these terms.
Listings compiled from public sources
Some listings are compiled by us from information a business already publishes. They are marked as such, and can be claimed or removed by the business at any time using the links on the listing. Our privacy policy explains the basis on which we hold that information.
